Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair comprehensive HVAC systems including air handling equipment, refrigeration systems, chillers, boilers, VAV systems, and electrical components with ongoing monitoring and adjustments

Perform routine maintenance activities including cleaning, lubricating, replacing filters and belts, conducting regular inspections, and troubleshooting malfunctions using various testing equipment

Execute advanced technical work involving plumbing and piping, wiring single and three-phase motors, running conduit, and installing or rebuilding pumps, motors, and air compressors

Manage refrigerant in compliance with state and EPA requirements, maintain accurate usage records, perform air balancing, and monitor Variable Frequency Drives on HVAC units and pumps

Operate building automation systems, provide cost estimates, and order materials for repair and maintenance projects throughout assigned facilities

Ensure safety compliance through proper handling of hazardous materials, adherence to local codes, and thorough documentation of all work performance and material procurement activities

Provide 24-hour emergency availability while maintaining Monday through Friday daytime schedule, working in various weather conditions and confined spaces
