Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for large, diverse datasets
Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to define data requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
Build and optimize data models to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and analysis
Implement and uphold data governance practices to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across systems
Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that deliver actionable insights to leadership teams
Aggregate and standardize data from systems such as EHRs, finance, marketing, and operational platforms into unified analytics models to support performance scorecards and decision-making tools
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a data or business analytics role
Strong proficiency in SQL and solid understanding of data modeling, ETL frameworks, and data warehousing concepts
Excellent communication skills with experience engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to independently own projects from concept through delivery
Detail-oriented and organized, with a commitment to maintaining thorough documentation
Preferred
Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake
Familiarity with data transformation tools like dbt, or a willingness to learn and implement them
Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
Exposure to healthcare-related datasets (e.g., claims or EHR data) and an understanding of compliance frameworks such as HIPAA
Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation or automation
Understanding of machine learning concepts and how they can be applied within analytics solutions
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
