Administrative Assistant

Children's Wisconsin is a nationally recognized health system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children. They are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide high-level confidential administrative and special project support to the Director(s), working independently and interacting with staff at all levels in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provides high level confidential administrative and special project support to the Director(s) to whom they report and is able to work independently with little or no supervision
Uses judgment and discretion to solve a variety of complex office related situations
Interacts with staff at all levels in a fast paced business environment while remaining flexible and efficient with a high degree of professionalism
Performs analysis and makes recommendations from a variety of department related data

Healthcare experienceMicrosoft Office SuiteProject managementCommunication skillsInterpersonal skillsOrganizational skills

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent
Advanced personal computer and word processing skills including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, and other Windows-based applications (MS Project, Visio, Peoplesoft etc)
Must be able to function in a dynamic environment subject to impromptu changes in schedules and priorities
Must possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to work effectively with professional staff, medical staff, all levels of management, and maintain confidential information

Preferred

Associate Degree
A minimum of 3+ years experience of related Healthcare experience
Previous experience with project management
