Quality Control Technician

Responsibilities

Employ and contribute to the improvement of the weapon program’s quality plans, control plans, inspection checklists, and verification and validation of production-related requirements
Participate in the internal review boards, lead and track root-cause/corrective action discovered across production materials, components and workflows, and document appropriately
Execute all production acceptance inspections and other company- and government-required inspection procedures
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in concert with other QA and production leadership
Adhere to and document key quality metrics
Ensure full compliance with all safety-related requirements
Willingness to fulfill Manufacturing Technician responsibilities if there is a shortage of personnel on the production line

Qualification

Quality Control experienceAS9100D knowledgeISO-9001 knowledgeBachelor’s degree in EngineeringTechnical writing skillsManufacturing line experienceCommunication skills

Required

0-7 years of Quality Control or Quality Assessment experience in aerospace/defense hardware production
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical field
Experience in achieving and sustaining high quality production-related systems, verified with quantitative measurements and documentation
Knowledge of AS9100D, ISO-9001 and other government-required standards
U.S. citizenship with current Secret clearance required (or ability to obtain/maintain one)
Strong communication and technical writing skills

Preferred

Experience with manufacturing lines and/or mechanically focused endeavors (e.g. engine mechanic)
