Responsibilities
Proper setup of grinding cell(s) including all adjustments necessary, either manual or programmed, to grind product to specifications
Manually load work pieces to and from shoes, chuck, etc
Transport tooling, equipment, and materials to and from work areas
Ensure accuracy of visual checks for surface defects and dimensional conformance to specifications
Measure, pack, and/or ship completed product
Ensure accuracy of production transactions
Take corrective action as necessary to ensure continuous production of quality product
Adhere to all safety standards
Qualification
Required
2 or more years of precision grinding/machining experience
High School Diploma or GED
18 years of age of older
Must be eligible to work in the US
Preferred
5 or more years of precision grinding/machining experience
Strong reading, comprehension, and attention to detail
Solid communication, teamwork, and organization
Mechanical knowledge
Problem-solving
Advanced shop math
Aptitude for reading gauges
Basic computer skills, including webpage navigation
