Program Coordinator

North 24th Street Business Improvement District is a quasi-local government entity focused on economic development and community collaboration. The Program Coordinator will implement the Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design program, manage communications, and support daily operations.

Responsibilities

Organizing and scheduling the activities of the program
Communications and outreach to partners
Manage records and reporting pertaining to program activities
Support grant writing and funding requests
Organize, co-lead, and participate in committees and community meetings
Assist with daily office duties of the BID Association

Qualification

Community engagementProgram coordinationMicrosoft OfficeWritten communicationOral communicationNonprofit experienceGovernment agency experienceDegree in relevant field

Required

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Criminal Justice, Pre-law, Urban Studies or Social Work
Experience in community engagement, outreach and program coordination
Demonstrates excellence in written and oral communication
Proficient with PC and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred

Nonprofit or government agency experience a plus
