Portfolio Monitoring Manager
Capital Farm Credit is the largest rural lending cooperative in Texas, dedicated to supporting rural communities and agriculture. The Portfolio Monitoring Manager is responsible for overseeing the performance and monitoring of borrowing bases and compliance certificates within the commercial and retail credit portfolios.

Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of portfolio monitoring analysts to ensure high-quality analysis and reporting
Oversee the ongoing analysis of retail and commercial credit portfolios, including performance tracking, risk assessment, and trend identification
Identify potential risks and emerging issues within the portfolio and develop strategies to mitigate these risks
Prepare and present comprehensive reports and presentations on portfolio performance, credit quality, and risk exposure to senior management and stakeholders
Work closely with credit underwriting, risk management, and business units to ensure alignment on portfolio strategies and risk policies
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used for analysis and reporting; implement best practices for data management
Ensure all portfolio monitoring activities comply with relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the portfolio monitoring function to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or experience deemed equivalent by Capital Farm Credit
Five (5) years of experience in commercial credit analysis, portfolio management, or related roles, with at least two (2) years in a managerial capacity
Strong understanding of credit risk principles and commercial lending practices, including creating and monitoring of a borrowing base and compliance certificate
Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, or financial modeling software)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to various audiences
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, team-oriented environment
Strong ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
Deep understanding of credit risk principles and commercial lending practices
Experience in managing and mentoring a team, fostering collaboration, and driving performance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present complex information clearly to various stakeholders
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to address portfolio issues and risks
Proficiency in financial analysis, including understanding financial statements and credit metrics
Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to commercial credit and risk management
Experience with data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel or financial modeling software)
Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and reporting
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
