Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize high-performance C++ applications supporting FIX/FIXML messaging in low-latency trading environments

Implement and maintain FIX protocol integrations (FIX, FIX with XML tags, FIXML) across multiple message formats

Parse, normalize, and transform FIX messages into downstream-consumable formats for real-time systems

Work with near-real-time messaging and queuing technologies to ensure reliability and performance

Partner directly with client stakeholders and quant developers to translate trading requirements into production-ready solutions

Own solutions end-to-end, demonstrating strong ideation-to-production velocity with a high bar for design, performance, and code quality

Required

Strong hands-on experience as a C++ developer in high-performance or low-latency systems

Deep expertise in FIX protocol implementations, including Native FIX, FIX with XML tags, FIXML

Experience parsing and transforming FIX messages into downstream systems

Familiarity with real-time or near-real-time messaging/queuing technologies

Ability to work independently and collaborate directly with senior client stakeholders

Strong software design principles with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and maintainability

Preferred

Experience or strong working knowledge of capital markets / trading systems

Exposure to market data, order management, execution platforms, or trading workflows

Ability to quickly learn financial concepts and adapt in fast-paced trading environments
