Responsibilities
Sell merchandise. This may involve operation of a cash register and/or credit card machine
Register campers and assign camping sites (e.g., sell permits at park offices and entrances authorizing use of camping, picnic areas, or other state park facilities)
Assist in supporting other facility operations (e.g., perform occasional typing and clerical duties in office by operating copier, fax machine, typewriter, and personal computer.)
Perform housekeeping and light maintenance functions to keep visitor contact area presentable
Qualification
Required
Cash handling experience: Ability to handle cash transactions correctly without the use of a calculator
Ability to stand or sit for long periods: Position will require long amounts of time at the front desk
Time Management: Ability to self-manage and ensure all tasks are done daily with or without supervision
