Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, and packages

Create and manage Oracle database objects, including tables, materialized views, triggers, synonyms, user-defined types, nested tables, and collections

Write and optimize high-performance SQL queries for large-scale data retrieval and manipulation

Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting for PL/SQL code

Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to implement and improve functionality

Translate technical specifications into clear, accurate data reports using tools such as Crystal Reports

Contribute to business process evaluations, system design efforts, and the development of standardized conversion routines for increased efficiency

Ensure compliance with database best practices, standards, and security protocols

Required

U.S. Citizenship is required. Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Oracle databases and PL/SQL programming

Familiarity with database development tools such as Oracle SQL Developer and/or TOAD

Ability to develop and maintain efficient and secure database objects and queries

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Preferred

Proven experience as a PL/SQL Developer in a production environment

Experience with Crystal Reports or similar reporting tools

Understanding of user-defined data types, nested tables, and complex Oracle structures

Experience participating in business process improvement and data migration projects

Exposure to Agile development environments and version control systems
