Responsibilities

Own Newport’s organic social presence across Instagram (primary), YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook
Plan and maintain a consistent, platform-specific posting cadence across all channels
Create, edit, and optimize short-form and long-form video for social platforms, including hooks, pacing, captions, and formatting
Adapt content per platform to maximize performance (no blind reposting)
Scale Instagram reach, impressions, and engagement through video-first execution
Launch and grow Newport’s TikTok presence from the ground up
Increase YouTube views and watch time through consistent publishing and format optimization
Actively manage comments, DMs, and Facebook Groups with a ≤24-hour response time
Integrate and amplify ambassador and creator content across platforms as part of the broader organic strategy
Maintain a consistent, authentic brand voice across all organic channels
Own a weekly organic social scorecard and monthly performance reporting
Use performance data to inform iteration, testing, and content strategy adjustments

Required

2-5 years of hands-on experience managing organic social media for a consumer brand
Strong video editing skills with a deep understanding of how Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, and Facebook differ and perform
Strong copywriting skills with an emphasis on hooks, captions, and scroll-stopping intros
Highly organized and disciplined, with a proven ability to maintain posting cadence
Comfortable owning outcomes and operating independently in a remote environment
Data-informed and iterative, using performance metrics to guide decisions
Confident working in a small, fast-moving company with evolving priorities
Collaborative communicator who works well with internal teams and ambassadors
Comfortable with ambiguity and experimentation in a rapidly changing social landscape

Preferred

Experience with outdoor recreation, boating, fishing, or enthusiast-driven lifestyle brands
