Responsibilities

Identify potential new customers while managing and developing existing relationships within the Army and SOCOM communities
Develop unique selling propositions and sales strategies to meet targets and expand the company’s global customer base
Partner with Engineering and Sales teams to identify new product opportunities based on customer feedback and tactical and operational unit requirements
Manage key accounts post-sale, ensuring customer satisfaction through tailored solutions and programmatic support
Create business proposals, lead initial negotiations, and close deals as part of a collaborative team
Identify, organize, and travel to industry events, trade shows, and operational units to strengthen Persistent Systems’ market presence

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (equivalent professional/military experience will be considered)
At least 5 years of experience in Sales/Business Development with Government or DoD customers or equivalent leadership experience within the U.S. Army or Special Operations Command (SOCOM) may be considered in lieu of traditional corporate sales experience
Experience in a role working with customers in the Defense industry
Understanding and/or knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) and network theory
Experience in the planning and implementation of military operational plans
Ability to support a highly technical, consultative sales model
Must have (or be able to obtain) a U.S. Security Clearance
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time (OCONUS and CONUS)
Strong skills in building and delivering tailored presentations on technical and networking concepts to internal and external stakeholders

Preferred

Deep understanding of specific Army and SOCOM/ARSOF units, including their unique operational requirements and mission sets
Strong understanding of Army acquisition/procurement processes and the C5ISR community
Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) or equivalent training in program management or contracting disciplines
Master's degree in business or a related field
5+ years of experience with a demonstrated track record of revenue growth
