Responsibilities
Read, design, layout, or review control panel drawings, electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, or related electrical drawings using AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical
Perform electrical calculations
Troubleshoot PLCs using ladder logic (Allen Bradley or Siemens)
Detailed knowledge of electric motor controls, utility circuits, safety circuits, and operator controls
Troubleshoot and resolve problems including but not limited to circuit breakers, transformers, motor starters, contactors, relays, A.C./D.C. inverters, braking resistors, etc
Qualification
Required
Strong experience using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar tool for electrical project design (industrial control panels, schematics, single-line diagrams, etc.)
Basic/Light experience troubleshooting Allen-Bradley or Siemens PLCs. (If you are a good troubleshooter who has only touched PLCs on a couple projects, we want to speak with you!)
Knowledgeable with using and applying the NEC electrical code and/or UL508a
