The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting research to develop and revise training courses, creating comprehensive training catalogs, and supporting both scheduled and unscheduled mission training requirements.

Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth research to develop and revise training courses based on mission requirements and organizational needs
Prepare and maintain training catalogs to ensure that courses and training materials are up-to-date and meet all specified standards
Provide support for both current and unscheduled mission training requirements, ensuring that personnel are prepared for all operational needs
Develop and maintain comprehensive instructor materials, including course outlines, background materials, and training aids, to ensure instructors are well-prepared for delivery
Create student-focused materials such as course manuals, workbooks, handouts, completion certificates, and course critique forms that support learning and development goals
Conduct formal classroom training, workshops, seminars, and computer-based/computer-aided training sessions for personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge
Apply knowledge of existing infrastructure, technologies, and policies to support the integration of virtual training systems into DoD training programs, from command post exercises to unit-level training
Advise and support the contract virtual training program, contributing to its vision and ensuring its success in meeting training requirements
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Instructional Design, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
Proven experience in training development, course design, and delivery, especially within the context of DoD training and virtual systems
Knowledge of virtual training systems, integration techniques, and policies governing training within the DoD environment
Experience in developing both instructor and student materials for training programs
Strong research, organizational, and analytical skills
Proficient in course development tools and training software, including computer-based/computer-aided training systems
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment and communicate with various stakeholders
Knowledge of training best practices, instructional design principles, and adult learning theory
Strong presentation and teaching skills, with the ability to engage and instruct diverse audiences
