Responsibilities

Review and optimize suppliers based on price, quality, selection, service, and availability
Approve purchases of high-quality merchandise at the lowest possible price and in correct amounts
Approve purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services
Instruct staff on resolving issues related to undelivered goods and negotiation methods
Confer with staff, users, and vendors to address defective or unacceptable goods/services and determine corrective actions
Evaluate and monitor contract performance to ensure compliance and identify necessary changes

Required

2–4 years of finance or related business experience required
Logistics / Supply Chain experience

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Associates degree

Preferred

SAP Mach 1
Working knowledge of CAT systems (SAP MACH 1, Lognet, etc.)
