Place and follow-up on POs
Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution
Manage problems and schedule changes
Update ERP
Elaborates proposals for improvement in approaches, methods, procedures and processes in the own field
Handles communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered
Contributes to project as a team member
Work goals typically take 1-3 month to complete and results are seen immediately or within 1-2 months
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 4 years of experience in Sourcing)
Minimum of 5+ years in a sourcing or procurement role
Supplier Management: Must be comfortable working with service providers in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential
High volume of Purchase Order Requests (PORs) to be processed
Experience with blanket purchase order agreements
Responsible for following up on releases to ensure timely processing and supplier payment
Collaborate closely with internal requesters and external suppliers
Manage the full cycle from sales order to PO placement, including invoice clearance
Preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to work independently
Strong problem solving skills
Experience in industrial energy technology is a plus to better understand the nature of purchased goods and services
Oracle Pascal and Oracle Oscar is preferred
