Responsibilities

Provide timely resolution of manufacturing process and product design problems, including investigations, statistical studies, and corrective action planning
Create cost-effective and safe manufacturing processes, equipment, and tools to improve manufacturing operations
Design manufacturing flow lines, workstation layouts, and station controls that optimize efficiency, operating costs, and product quality
Uphold manufacturing standards including machine capability, process maps, set-ups, quality controls, tooling and fixture records, routings, and cycle times
Generate work instructions, job breakdowns, and standardized work to ensure quality at the source meets product and manufacturing specifications given local needs
Serve as a voice of the customer for input for new design development
Partner with on-site EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) to ensure all equipment meets safety regulations compliant with OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration)

Required

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
3-5 Years experience in manufacturing environment
Process Flow, PFMEA & Control Plan experience required
Ability to accurately assess manufacturing issues related to process and design
Demonstrated new product introduction experience required, including planning, development and implementation
Demonstrated leading and managing multiple projects, using project management tools and methodologies
Experience leading continuous improvement projects using A3 methodologies such as PDCA and 9 step problem solving
Effective communication at multiple levels coupled with ability to build relationships
Growth mindset – desire to expand technical skillset
Results-driven to maintain accountability and customer-focus

Preferred

Degree preferred in Engineering - Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical
6 Sigma Green belt certification preferred
DELMIA Apriso experience preferred
Degree preferred in Engineering or related technical disciplines
