Responsibilities
Build successful relationships with business partners, dental directors and managers to understand needs
Proactively reach out to candidates via web based methods, social media, professional meetings, trade shows and other sources
Assist in development of materials to be used in the recruiting process
Manage candidates through recruitment cycle ensuring a positive experience
Conduct telephone and in-person interviews with potential candidates
Proactively coordinate with dental directors, office managers and senior management team for interview and hiring process
Maintain consistent presence in local dental trade schools and deepen relationships with key leaders at the schools
Ongoing development of relationships with potential candidates via a variety of methods, including career events at dental trade schools, hosting events in the dental community, targeted mailings, emails, etc
Manage candidates via applicant tracking system (ATS)
Develop strong pipelines of potential candidates for Hygienists and Dental Assistants in new markets throughout New England
Manage image of Gentle Dental and affiliates within the profession through events and continuing education opportunities
Develop and disseminate reporting & metrics to enhance the recruitment experience and process
Serve as the point of contact for all extern/internship programs
Support the onboarding process, ensuring new employees have a position employment experience
Qualification
Required
Proven recruitment experience (preferably in healthcare or dental)
A knack for building strong relationships and delivering a positive candidate experience
Excellent communication and organizational skills
A passion for connecting people with meaningful career opportunities
Minimum 4 years' experience in a professional recruitment role
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Experience working effectively with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
Strong working knowledge of labor laws and requirements
Willingness to travel as required
Ability to establish strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Willingness to work outside of normal business hours
Self-starter with the ability to work well with other team members
Ability to deliver results
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
