Responsibilities
6+ years of software development experience in Java (Spring Boot) in an Agile environment (Scrum preferred)
Experience designing and creating well-defined Restful APIs with API proxies on platforms such as AWS API Gateway
Experience developing software applications using relational and NoSQL databases
Experience deploying software using CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, AWS, GitBucket CI/CD, DevOps (GitLab preferred)
Experience with NodeJS and use in microservices and Lambdas
Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
Ability to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals like data structures and algorithms
Passion for technology and an eagerness to learn
Software development experience in NextJS, ReactJS or Vue JS
Proven experience working with and mentoring offshore/nearshore development teams
Flexible to adjust working hours to effectively collaborate with offshore and nearshore development teams
Flexible to adjust working hours to participate for off-hour support rotation
Any CSS framework experience – Bootstrap or Materialize or Tailwind
Experience with Message brokers such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, AWS SNS, Apache ActiveMQ, Kinesis (Kafka preferred)
Data Stores such as MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, Elasticsearch, MySQL, Oracle
Demonstrated leadership on small to medium-scale projects impacting strategic priorities
Test-driven development and behavior-driven development
Experience with test automation tools such as Cucumber
Mobile development experience with React Native, Flutter or Kotlin Native apps
Experience building GraphQL or gRPC API’s
Python development
Experience with batch or stream processing systems such as Apache Spark
Experience with Testing tools such as Cucumber and their integration into CI/CD pipelines
Experience in the auto repair industry with exposure to systems such as CCC
Qualification
Required
