RECARO Automotive is seeking a Materials Analyst to maintain consistent Material Flow to support the Master Production schedule for their Clinton Township plant. The role involves developing monitoring processes, managing inventory levels, and improving operating efficiencies within the supply chain.

Responsibilities

Create and maintain Supplier Releases

Maintain Inventory and Demand record integrity, to ensure supplier release accuracy, using tools as CUM reconciliation and Capacity Management (Material Requirement Planning)

Work with production to support in identifying and prioritizing variance issues that may impact production

Analyze data to root cause source of variance and identify permanent corrective actions

Manage and track the flow of material between main facility and external warehouses

Cycle counting support to maintain inventory accuracy

Collaborate with other departments (mainly Engineering) to create Part Transition Plans

Maintenance and communication of key performance indicators

Establish and adjust safety stock levels for Purchased Parts

Assist in the coordination of engineering change implementation, through timing control

Assist in the development of Freight and Inventory budgets

Participation in S&OP meetings

Other Supply Chain related activities to support the overall department cross-training plan

Required

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management or any Engineering Field

In the absence of a 4-year degree in an appropriate field of study, this position requires four (4) years of related experience (as Materials or Purchasing Analyst or Coordinator)

2+ years MRP (Material Requirements Planning) experience; preferably with experience dealing with international vendors

Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required

Experiencing working within an ERP system, preferably PLEX

Customs & Duties process transactions (inbound/outbound)

Preferred

Spanish or German languages are a plus
