Responsibilities
The internship will consist of a project-based assignment to broaden learning, experience, organizational knowledge, and business acumen
Ability to work on a variety of real-world impact projects based on the specific discipline being pursued
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Ability to learn modern technology, software and tools including 3-D CAD and analysis software
Strong interpersonal skills and written/oral communication skills
Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or related field
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA
Attend domestic inspection trips with Midrex teammates
Possibility of a domestic or international trip to visit an operating Midrex plant
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Ability to move around a fabrication shop and an industrial plant site, including safely climbing inside and around equipment
