Technician I - Part Time

Responsibilities

Set up and support internet and telecom connections for exhibitors at trade shows, conferences, and large-scale events
Read event floor plans and translate them into real-world network layouts
Install, test, and maintain copper and fiber optic cabling, patch panels, and jumpers
Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide real-time solutions with confidence and professionalism
Stay organized and fully equipped by maintaining and restocking tools and supplies
Work closely with internal teams and event staff to ensure flawless execution

Required

A genuine interest in technology and a desire to learn about IT and networking

Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and non-traditional hours as needed
Ability to stand for long periods and move/lift equipment as required

Preferred

Basic knowledge of networking concepts (IP addresses, routers, etc.)
Experience working with copper or fiber cabling
Background in customer service, tech support, or event production
