Hydraulic Designer
Benesch is a growing, multi-disciplined planning, engineering, and professional services firm. They are seeking a Hydraulic Designer to support the development of Transportation Projects, focusing on the design and analysis of storm drainage systems and hydraulic culvert/bridge design.

Responsibilities
Perform hydrology/hydraulic analysis for the design and construction of transportation projects
Perform stormwater management system and pond design
Provide fieldwork assistance to verify existing site conditions
Organize calculations based on design and project standards
Draw and coordinate design details
Develop cursory knowledge of applicable codes, standards and regulatory agency requirements
Qualification
Required
B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required
Willingness to develop understanding of MicroStation, Bentley Suite, GEOPAK drainage and HEC-RAS
Willingness to work in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment
Knowledgeable and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment on challenging projects
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in written form
