Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python and Django
Build and consume RESTful APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF)
Develop database schemas and write optimized queries (PostgreSQL/MySQL)
Integrate frontend elements with server‐side logic
Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices
Write clean, reusable, and well‐documented code
Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning
Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to gather and refine requirements
Participate in code reviews and follow best development practices
Assist in deployment and maintenance of applications in cloud environments
Qualification
Required
Strong proficiency in Python
Hands‐on experience with Django / Django REST Framework
Solid understanding of MVC/MVT architecture
Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and OAuth/JWT authentication
Familiarity with Git / version control systems
Understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (basic to intermediate)
Experience with Linux/Unix environment
Good problem‐solving and debugging skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
Preferred
Experience with Docker & CI/CD pipelines
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of Celery, Redis, RabbitMQ
Experience with microservices architecture
Familiarity with testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest)
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
