Responsibilities

Perform testing of custom applications and GIS components

Create and document test plans, test cases, and test scripts

Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects and anomalies from a business user perspective

Support testing in an Agile environment

Collaborate with business stakeholders, PMO, and vendor technical teams to understand requirements

Ensure testing activities are completed on schedule and escalate risks or issues as needed

Assist business SMEs and BAs in developing and executing UAT scenarios

Participate in defect triage meetings and demos

Prepare and submit weekly status reports to the QA Testing Lead

Required

3–5 years of experience in software testing within development projects

Experience with mid-scale or large-scale system implementations

Strong knowledge of manual and/or automated testing

Experience with test strategies, test plans, and test scripts

Experience with Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM)

Experience with UAT preparation and execution

Experience with defect tracking and test result documentation

Experience with regression, performance, load, security, and post-go-live testing

Ability to analyze system and business requirements documentation

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience with GitHub and ServiceNow

Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field or equivalent work experience

At least Five (5) years of experience with testing in software development projects

Experience in mid-scale or large-scale system development projects (including using test automation, test strategy, developing and executing test script)

Able to review and analyze system specifications (e.g. System Requirements, Business Requirements, Design Documents, etc.)

Experience in documenting Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) and confirming applications are ready for UAT
