Precision Parts CNC Machining Specialist
Overton Industries is a company that enables automotive, aerospace, and industrial innovators with precision-built components and tooling. They are seeking a Precision Parts CNC Machining Specialist to own the machining process, operate CNC and manual equipment, and ensure quality and efficiency in production.

Responsibilities
Set up and run CNC lathes, mills, and grinders; verify offsets, tooling, and fixtures to achieve tight tolerances
Read and apply blueprints, drawings, and CAD models to ensure dimensional accuracy
Choose the right tools, fixturing, and materials; perform adjustments and quick changeovers
Inspect with micrometers, calipers, and CMM; document results and hold parts to spec
Perform routine maintenance; promptly report and help resolve mechanical issues
Partner with engineering and production to optimize cycle times and throughput
Keep a safe, orderly work area and follow all safety protocols
Track quantities, materials, and deviations
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate or associate degree preferred
2–3 years of production machining experience; CNC programming knowledge is a plus
Proficiency on CNC and manual machines; strong blueprint literacy and GD&T understanding
Comfort with precision metrology; familiarity with G-code preferred
Detail-driven problem solver who can work independently and in a team
Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
Preferred

Forklift certification or related credentials
