UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking an Asset Lead to support their Advanced Technologies Division. The role involves managing inventory and maintaining equipment and supplies while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies in warehouse activities.

Responsibilities

Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and tracking parts, materials, and equipment

Conduct the organization/maintaining of warehouse spaces to ensure cleanliness and efficiency

Conduct the fulfillment of orders by overseeing the picking, packing, and preparation of items for shipment

Conduct regular plant, property and equipment inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify shortages

Perform receipt inspection and acceptance; collect and record inspection data; document non-conformances and propose corrective actions

Conduct preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and warehouse tools

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in warehouse activities

Required

High school diploma or GED equivalent

Four (4) years' managing or leading a team responsible for property/asset or material accountability

Working knowledge of Plant Property & Equipment / Asset and Supply Chain management policies and regulations including Financial Management Regulation (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and DoD Instructions

Proficiency in reading and interpreting shipping and receiving documents and reports

Knowledge of quality assurance processes and industry standards

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Effective communication and teamwork abilities

Problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities

Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds regularly

Frequent standing, bending, walking, and kneeling in warehouse and workshop environments

Comfortable working in varying conditions, including temperature fluctuations and noise

Manual dexterity for operating tools and equipment with precision

Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level

US Citizenship is a requirement for this contract
