PMO Operations Associate Director (Remote)
Collins Aerospace is seeking a skilled PMO Operations Manager within Collins Digital Technology to oversee the day-to-day operations of their Project Management Office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management methodologies and a proven track record of driving operational efficiency.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement standardized project management processes and templates to streamline project delivery and drive efficiency and consistency across all projects
Establish and maintain project management tools and reporting to facilitate project planning and execution, status reporting, and financial management
Monitor project performance against key metrics, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed
Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the PMO, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and enhance productivity
Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship on project management best practices, tools, and methodologies to ensure adherence to processes and the successful execution of projects
Ensure execution of portfolio financial commitments. Providing services to the PMO for forecasting & planning, actuals analysis, capital requests and variance analysis
Lead the Lean Agile Center of Excellence as the Product Manager providing leadership strategic direction, escalation of critical issues and establishment of common processes
Qualification
Required
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
Proven experience in project management, with a focus on digital technology projects
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team
In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience in implementing and managing project management tools and software (Planview Portfolios, Microsoft Project, JIRA)
Experience with metric dashboard and report development in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on driving results
Work productively in a fast-paced, demanding environment (virtually as well as in-person)
Preferred
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
