Responsibilities
Perform supplier oversight and product inspections for regular project execution to ensure compliance with specifications
Perform routine audits according to the supplier risk categorization and the audit program
Identify and initiate containment on any identified non-conformances
Support supplier evaluation based on regular analysis of supplier quality
Generate periodical quality performance reports and ensure appropriate improvement actions are initiated
Qualification
Required
You have a Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or a similar discipline. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered
Around 10 years of preferred professional experience in supplier quality management, quality management, or engineering related to MV and LV electrical systems and components. Position Class can be adjusted based on the candidate's experience and qualifications
You have experience performing supplier evaluation, qualification, product/process qualification & technical supplier development to provide a global, demand covering, quality assured, and cost-effective supply base for responsible suppliers
Extensive knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IEEE, UL, and IEC
Extensive knowledge and experience in auditing
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 35% of the time
Preferred
ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred
