Zachry Group is seeking a Material Expeditor I to assist in warehouse operations. The role involves maintaining inventory in SAP, shipping and receiving materials, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Receive items, from packaging slip into SAP computer system with accurate material count matching

Unpack delivered goods and store in appropriate location until issued

Notify appropriate department when ordered item has arrived and deliver to appropriate department

Maintain inventory control by continuous tracking and inventory updates with reports

Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas

Use identification tags or other labeling equipment to mark all goods

Housekeeping in warehouses means cleaning and maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations

Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities

Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment

Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors

Aid maintenance, operators, projects and anyone that comes into the warehouse
