Manager, Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

The University of North Georgia is a multi-campus university focused on educational excellence and community engagement. They are seeking a Manager for their Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) to lead daily operations, ensure data integrity, and support data-informed decision-making through dashboard and analytics development.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain complex queries to support data analysis, compliance reporting, and leadership decision-making
Oversee the design and development of dashboards for HR and executive leadership
Supervise and develop HRIS Specialists, ensuring effective support and collaboration across HR functions. Assist with data entry duties as necessary, partnering with the team to maintain accuracy and meet deadlines
Management of Affordable Care Act (ACA) compliance to include time tracking, communication, reporting and other duties and responsibilities related to this function. Develop, analyze, and manage data and reporting for Affirmative Action Plans, including statistical metrics and compliance-related documentation
Perform data validation and updates to ensure accuracy prior to processing faculty contracts. Generate faculty contract addendums and staff salary letters
Participate in system upgrade user acceptance testing. Other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's Degree
Minimum 3 years' experience working in HRIS systems, ideally PeopleSoft or Workday, and dashboard creation, ideally with PowerBI

Preferred

Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Proven ability to design and manage complex reports
Ability to develop dashboards using platforms such as Power BI
Advanced proficiency in Excel including vLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas
