Responsibilities
Preparing, maintaining, and organizing client files
Preparation of letters and other correspondence
Maintaining and organizing corporate records (including minute books and stock certificates)
Maintaining and organizing electronic data rooms
Maintenance of electronic data and other file information
Formatting, proofreading, and editing documents
Ensuring all documents leaving the office, whether electronically or via mail, are in good order, free of typos and grammatical errors
Managing calendars, planning, and scheduling meetings
Regularly reporting to work and adhering to the designated work schedule
Ability to be flexible, handle pressure, adapt to changing work priorities, and manage deadlines, workflow, and work assignments
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and productivity standards
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience as a legal assistant required; Corporate preferred
Experience in litigation helpful
Ability to deal professionally and communicate clearly and concisely with clients, attorneys, and staff on all levels
Strong computer proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Adobe/PDFDocs
Managing calendars, planning, and scheduling meetings
Superior organizational skills, including filing, calendaring, and time management
Familiarity with Net Documents, or other document management system helpful
Proven analytical skills
Regularly report to work and adhere to the designated work schedule
Ability to be flexible, handle pressure, adapt to changing work priorities, and manage deadlines, workflow, and work assignments
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision to meet deadlines and productivity standards
