Technology Support Specialist
TriCom Technical Services is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to deliver hands-on Tier-1 and Tier-2 technical support for end users. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, providing desktop support, and collaborating with internal teams while traveling regionally.

Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across Windows, Mac, and mobile devices
Provide in-person and remote desktop support for applications, devices, and user access
Support Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint, Exchange distribution lists, and mailbox permissions
Travel on a scheduled route, and as needed, to regional locations for support and project work
Serve as an escalation point for Level-1 Service Desk issues
Coordinate device ordering, deployment, replacement, and asset lifecycle activities
Act as on-site technical support for basic networking, server, and systems tasks under guidance from senior teams
Communicate clearly and professionally with end users and leadership on issues and resolution status
Deliver a high-level of customer service in all interactions
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience providing desk-side and desktop support in a Windows environment
Experience supporting Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 tools
Hands-on experience troubleshooting Windows and Mac workstations
Working knowledge of Active Directory user and group management
Experience supporting Apple devices including iPhone, iPad, and Mac computers
Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work on-site Monday through Friday during standard business hours
Willingness to travel approximately 25 percent, up to one week per month, within an assigned regional zone
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
