Responsibilities
Use and develop skills in AutoCAD and Revit Structure to develop construction documents
Report under the direction of Structural Project Engineer and Structural Project Manager
Work in a collaborative environment and assist in coordinating the work of a multi-disciplined team throughout the design development and construction document phases of a project
Perform quality control of their own work prior to giving to Structural Project Engineer for final review
Assist in maintaining task budgets
Other duties as required
Qualification
Required
Technical School, Assoc. in Civil/Architectural Engineering, BSCE/AE or equivalent experience
Revit Certification a plus (Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit for Structural Design)
Minimum 3+ years of Revit drafting experience related to structural detailing
Revit (must have)
AutoCAD (helpful but not mandatory)
Building and managing 3D structural models including beams, columns, walls, foundations, floors and slabs
Capable of creating custom families and modifying types of structural elements
Proficient in BIM collaboration tools, including work sharing workflows and shared models
Creation of accurate Construction Documentation, skilled in sheet layout, exporting models and data and conduct QA/QC
Familiarity with BIM protocols
MS Office, Bluebeam and other software related to discipline
