Treasury Analyst-Debt Capital Markets

The Treasury Analyst in Debt Capital Markets will be responsible for market analysis, support for debt operations, and interaction with various functional areas to ensure effective management of the company's debt portfolio.

Responsibilities
Provide support and develop a deep understanding of existing debt programs, execute trades, maintain controls, and assist in the overall effectiveness of debt programs, program payments and program documentation
Proactively develop and maintain peer analysis and benchmarking to facilitate and create recommendations around capital deployment strategy
Manage interest expense forecasting as well as supporting the management of the debt portfolio, interest payments and debt/capital markets related rating agency expenses, as well as DCM budget management
Support for debt issuances, marketing materials and coordination of due diligence processes to facilitate debt and credit facility transactions that may occur on very tight timelines
Develop a deep understanding of rating agency metrics, continuous updates to rating agency models to support ad-hoc analysis at any time for enterprise initiatives
Support banking relationships/Interact with external parties such as bank group members, commercial paper dealers and rating agencies as appropriate
Continuous improvement of KPIs, market analysis and reporting requirements enabling an up to date and comprehensive library of supporting material for managing operational effectiveness, third party or executive reporting
All other duties or treasury projects as directed
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a corporate treasury or capital markets role within the Finance function of a publicly held global corporation
General understanding of the fixed income/equity markets with a strong desire to deepen that understanding
A record indicating a high level of analytical ability, financial acumen that enables the person to think independently and propose thoughtful recommendations that add value
Must be a team player and highly energetic, able to operate at a high level in a fast-paced environment. Possesses a strong work ethic and the drive to become a financial leader within the Company
Excellent communicator and negotiator with demonstrated influencing skills and the ability to build and leverage internal and external alliances
High level of intellectual curiosity with the ability to see the big picture while maintaining a highly focused and accurate attention to details. Ability to focus on essentials and prioritize appropriately
Broad interest in finance and treasury; familiarity with financial/debt accounting
Intermediate to advanced skills with the full suite of Microsoft Office products, advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience required
You must have a track record of building trust and operating effectively within a dynamic and growth organization
Preferred
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, or business preferred
