Flooring Sales Representative

Responsibilities

Monitor Constantly circulate the sales floor and greet customers in a timely manner. Avoid “grouping” or other behaviors that prevent effective greetings
Manage Identify and resolve all post-order problems quickly and efficiently. Partner with other sales staff or customer care teams whenever necessary to ensure prompt and thorough problem resolution
Plan Maximize the sales process. Achieve all sales targets and goals as assigned by the Sales Manager, including sales volume, gross margin%, add-on sales and returned merchandise
Assist Use all existing tools, such as catalogs, internet, workshops, etc. to acquire expert knowledge of the assigned product lines
Collaborate Support the department’s management staff. Demonstrate teamwork at all times with all NFM work groups
Assist website customers with determining needs and providing product and/or policy information
Manage Efficiently manage the chat session. If the chat session becomes excessive, recommend a reply via telephone
Collaborate Research and assist Online admins with Online customer orders that are delayed or past due on their pickup dates
Manage multiple chat sessions at one time
Coordinate Utilize internal resources to gather requested information or to find a solution/response for the customer

Required

Excellent communication skills
Professional, neat and clean-cut appearance
High degree of self-motivation and project positive attitude
Customer centric and enjoys serving others
Ability to establish rapport and develop trust with customers
Ability to enter data quickly and accurately
Ability to use MS Office applications and navigate the internet
Pre-employment screening includes, but isn't limited to, criminal background check
5 years furniture sales required
Interior design experience required
Ability to work early mornings/late nights and weekends based on business needs

Preferred

High School Diploma or GED preferred
English/Spanish bilingual speakers preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or equivalent experience preferred
