TEC Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Life Safety Systems (LSS) Drafter / BIM Designer who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of their clients' business. This hybrid position involves delivering complex packages in coordination with multi-discipline engineers and design leads, utilizing AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create 3D models for various life safety systems.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the delivery of complex packages in coordination with multi-disciple engineers and design leads
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create a 3D model space in coordination with architects and engineers
Assist designers with layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security and Intrusion detection systems

Qualification

Life Safety Systems designAutoCADRevit MEPIFC knowledgeIBC knowledgeNFPA 70 knowledgeNFPA 101 knowledgeNFPA 72 knowledgeFire/Life Safety systemsIndustrial design experienceAutodesk Certification Professional

Required

5+ years of Life Safety Systems design experience
Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code
Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety systems and manufacturer's equipment
Industrial design experience

Preferred

Autodesk Certification Professional (ACP) preferred or other drafting technologies certifications
