Responsibilities
Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
Coaches and mentors the Analytics Data Product team on best practices, such as solution generation, market research, storyboarding, mind-mapping, prototyping methods. Helps uplift the team to develop a product mindset to help tell a story of the importance of data, the generative AI solutions and how drives business outcomes and enhancing our customers experience
Partners with data owners, engineering, data science, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant data product solutions and generative AI solutions
Leads modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy systems to cloud-native architectures such as AWS and Data Lake
Develops a strong partnership with Stakeholders; communicating product updates, influencing the importance of data to the organization, progress and strategy to stakeholders; including executives and customers
Demonstrates success in delivering enterprise-scale data products with measurable business outcomes
Analyzes data, extracts actionable insights, and connects findings to business strategy, highlighting the importance of data quality and centralized data management in a data lake
Translates business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories for development teams
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
Experience in driving change within organizations and managing stakeholders across multiple functions
Structured thinker and effective communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with different data environments such as AWS S3, Snowflake and Data Bricks
Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with them and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Technical knowledge of data engineering, data pipelines, data modeling and data architecture
Experience in API-first product design, data governance, and real-time data processing
Expertise in delivering products, projects, or technology applications
Preferred
Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
High proficient in data querying with languages as Python, R, Perl, SQL
Experience in product development
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
