Responsibilities
The design and preparation of land development projects in the Central Florida area
Design grading, erosion control, sanitary sewer, water, storm sewer, and roadways
Design & coordinate with the engineering team and other disciplines to meet project objectives
Assist with various duties, such as engineering records, permitting, or obtaining existing utility right of way records
Work with engineering design teams on stormwater management modeling and design, preparing calculation packages, site grading, utility design, hydraulic calculations and cost estimating
Qualification
Required
B.S. in Civil Engineering
Minimum 5 years professional work experience in Engineering
P.E. in State of FL or ability to obtain within 2 years
Ability to design land development projects from initial stages through final construction documents
Working knowledge of AutoCAD, WaterCAD, ICPR and Civil 3D required
Experience required in stormwater modeling and drainage design; roadway, utility, and site design; and land development, road, and utility design
Self-starter, detail oriented, and technically sound with engineering principles & practices
Work experience in a civil firm desired
Be flexible and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
