Responsibilities
Be a role model
Develop and lead implementation of classroom curriculum and weekly lesson plans appropriate for age group
Supervise the children, classroom, and Teaching Assistants assigned to the classroom
Assure child safety by understanding and following safety and security procedures
Maintain positive relationships and effective communication with parents
Conduct student assessments and parent-teacher conferences
Help assure a clean and well-organized classroom and equipment
Respond immediately and appropriately to unexpected situations and emergencies
Attend and be an active participant at staff meetings
Qualification
Required
Provide care and early childhood education for infant, toddler or preschool children, ages 0-5, in a licensed childcare and preschool center environment
Be a role model
