Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy Salesforce solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Lightning Aura
Customize and configure Salesforce, including custom objects, fields, workflows, validation rules, and automation
Build, maintain, and support integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, project managers, and end-users to gather, analyze, and refine requirements
Perform unit testing, debugging, and deployments of Salesforce applications
Track and manage development activities using Jira (Scrum and Kanban boards)
Participate in Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions and conduct impact analysis for system changes
Develop system designs aligned with Salesforce best practices, scalability, and long-term maintainability
Troubleshoot application, code, and data issues in both development and production environments
Create and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, diagrams, and configuration details
Provide production support and proactively identify opportunities for performance optimization and process improvement
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data governance standards
Stay current with Salesforce releases, platform enhancements, and industry best practices
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience developing Lightning Components, including Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura
7+ years of experience developing and maintaining Apex code, including triggers, classes, batch processes, and Apex test classes
3+ years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining Visualforce pages
7+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with third-party applications using REST and SOAP APIs
3+ years of experience performing data migrations from legacy systems into Salesforce
Preferred
1+ year of experience using Copado for Salesforce DevOps, including CI/CD, deployments, and release management
1+ year of experience with Copado Robotic Testing for automated Salesforce testing and quality assurance
Experience issuing, tracking, and managing Salesforce-related tickets using Jira, ServiceNow, or similar ticketing systems
Experience working in public sector, child welfare, or human services environments (preferred)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, regulated environment
Strong attention to detail with a focus on system quality and compliance
