Responsibilities

Ensuring all personnel comply with ENTACT safety standards and programs
Ensuring implementation and quality of project plans
Maintaining effective schedule and cost control methods
Detailed planning and coordination of work two weeks in advance
Leading on-site meetings with project staff, subcontractors, and clients
Maintaining accurate daily field reports, schedule updates and email correspondence
Maintaining a high level of communication with craft employees, clients and ENTACT management
Responding to site changes and challenges in an affective timely manner
Cultivating and maintaining a strong relationship with the client and project oversite

Required

Must have a valid Driver's license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements
Ability to utilize a computer and associated software including, Microsoft Word, Excel, Email and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to conduct onsite meetings with clients, subcontractors, and personnel
Understanding written sentences and paragraphs related to documentation, including, plans, specifications, budget, safety policies, and HR policies
Ability to communicate effectively with management, co-workers, vendors, both individually and in front of a group
Good reasoning ability and decision-making skills
Able to understand and utilize reports, memos, and other documents to conduct business
Must be able to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard
Work requires the ability to hear normal conversation, see near objects, and speak clearly
Must have a normal sense of smell
Regular use of the phone, email, text, teams and computer for communication
Sitting for extended period
No heavy lifting is expected. Exertion of up to 25 pounds of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects may be required
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform such activities as viewing a computer, extensive reading, preparing and analyzing data and figures and decipher color
Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computers, calculators, copiers, and fax machines
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, and government regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Must be capable of working under physical stress conditions such as heat stress and cold stress during various weather conditions and potentially long workdays
Ability to climb stairs and/ or ladders to reach and work from elevated platforms
Ability to grip handrails/ ladders with both hands
Hot, cold and pressure sensitivity in hands and feet
Donning of varying types of personal protective equipment (PPE) as project requirements and conditions warrant
Working in loud or noisy environments
Ability to give clear and precise verbal and written instruction to all crew members including when under pressure
Match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness
See objects or movement of objects to one's side when the eyes are focused forward
Hear the direction from which a sound originated
Must be able to walk on broken, unfirm, uneven ground
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Job success often hinges upon interpersonal communication and relationship development skills, and job tasks require frequent interchange, and successful completion depends in large part upon effective interaction and communication with others
Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
Ability to safely travel by air, car, train or bus

Preferred

HAZWOPER training is highly preferred, but not required
Exposure to and familiarity with any of the following areas of technical knowledge is highly desirable but not all are required: Excavation/Backfilling, Cap and Containment Installation, Dewatering & Water Treatment, Decommissioning, Decontamination & Demolition, Asbestos Abatement, Lead Abatement, Sediment Removal & Wetlands, MGP (Manufactured Gas Plant), Pipelines, Coal Ash Impoundment & Landfill Closure, Mine Reclamation and Remediation, Active Refineries, Residential Remediation, Slurry Wall Installation, In-Situ Stabilization (Soil Mixing – Deep Auger), In-Situ Stabilization (Soil Mixing – Excavator Bucket), Ex-Situ Stabilization, Drilling, Sheet Pile Installation, Dredging, Sedimentation and erosion control, Waste Management
