Payroll Specialist
Tucker Parker Smith Group is a global technology leader focused on developing innovative data storage and memory solutions. They are seeking a Payroll Specialist III to ensure accurate and compliant payroll processing for over 2,100 employees across the U.S.
Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end U.S. payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Maintain and validate payroll data, including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, stock income, and fringe benefits
Ensure payroll data integrity across multiple systems and collaborate with internal teams to support benefits and retirement processing
Partner with Global Mobility and third-party providers to manage payroll and tax compliance for employees on international assignments
Identify operational and regulatory risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure ongoing compliance
Provide exceptional customer service by promptly resolving employee payroll inquiries
Coordinate with external payroll vendors to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to company standards
Prepare, review, and validate payroll documentation, reports, and filings for regulatory authorities
Collaborate daily with HR and Finance to align payroll processes and resolve issues related to outsourced services
Maintain compliance with labor laws, internal audit requirements, and strict payroll deadlines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience
Minimum 7 years of U.S. payroll experience, with expert-level knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Ceridian Dayforce Payroll (required) — candidates without this experience will not be considered
Experience with Workday HCM as an HR system of record
