Responsibilities
Performs critical program management, technical, or business analysis of major DoD acquisition systems and provides recommendations to ensure program success
Provides program analysis support for all aspects of the program
Participates as a member of and/or supports the overall Program and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
Collects, completes, organizes and interprets technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs
Tracks program/project status and schedules
Applies policies and procedures for financial planning
Writes technical directives based upon approved ECPs
Qualification
Required
Technical Directives writing experience
Familiarity of NAVAIR Change Control Board process
Experience with configuration management support including processing and finalizing Technical Directives
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Minimum of three years of experience managing complex multidisciplined programs
Located in commutable distance to Lakehurst, NJ
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or an additional five years of relevant Program Management analytical experience
Experience managing organizations working on Acquisition Category (ACAT) programs, Abbreviated Acquisition Programs (AAPs), or programs of comparable size and complexity
Possess senior-level Program Management skills relating to tasks, schedules, and people
Effectively operate with Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) policies and processes
Authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship
Able to obtain a security clearance
Preferred
Minimum of one year of experience in Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE)
Knowledge of the land-based and ship environments in which these systems will operate
