Responsibilities
Designs electromechanical test systems for medical device manufacturing
Applies intermediate level principles of engineering analysis, blend technical knowledge and manufacturing practices in providing solutions to problems arising within the department pertaining to the assigned projects
Writes test protocols and execute prototype test execution for components and systems
Creates and/or manages the generation of detailed mechanical drawings
Designs test fixtures/systems, author protocols, and execute Gauge R&Rs/validation testing
Qualification
Required
Designs electromechanical test systems for medical device manufacturing
Applies intermediate level principles of engineering analysis, blend technical knowledge and manufacturing practices in providing solutions to problems arising within the department pertaining to the assigned projects
Writes test protocols and execute prototype test execution for components and systems
Creates and/or manages the generation of detailed mechanical drawings
Designs test fixtures/systems, author protocols, and execute Gauge R&Rs/validation testing
Proficient in Creo and/or Solidworks
Experience designing and integrating robotic/mechatronic systems is mandatory
Experience with fixture/test systems design, test method development, test method validation is mandatory
BS in Mechanical Engineering + 5 years' experience
MS in Mechanical Engineering +3 years' experience
Preferred
At least 1 - 2 years' experience in medical device industry is preferred (Class II/III a preferred)
