Responsibilities

Support generator design, drawing review, supply questions, and assembly
Support existing product development testing
Create engineering documentation, such as hardware specifications, test plans, analytical reports, and test reports
Support and align efforts to meet plans related to budgets and schedules
Effectively communicate with management, suppliers, customers, and members of the technical design team
Participate in design discussions and customer presentations
Conduct engineering investigations to establish root cause, verify findings, and implement corrective actions
Adhere to and develop engineering standard work
Respond to supplier or plant site issues, analyzing and correcting operational and field problems

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field

Preferred

Hands-on experience as part of an engineering team, contributing to the design, testing, and manufacturing of mechanical components
Strong background in structural and thermal analysis, with proficiency in 3D design software
Skilled in Excel, including VBA, Solver, and other advanced functions
Experience working with rotating hardware technologies, such as pumps, gears, transmissions, and generators
Solid understanding of engineering drawings and technical documentation
