Responsibilities
Provide compassionate personal care, facilitating daily routines and ensuring comfort for retired individuals
Oversee daily operations when filling in for the shift manager, ensuring that both residents and staff thrive in a safe, comfortable environment
Supervise resident care, including medication administration and personal care assistance, while preparing for the next shift through essential documentation and communication with incoming managers
Lead evening staff, providing support and direction to ensure seamless transitions between shifts
Engage in effective communication with residents and families, addressing concerns with proactive problem-solving and maintaining compliance with regulations
Monitor care standards, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary changes
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year previous experience in caregiving or a related field - (preferably working with seniors)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to assist with personal care tasks and mobility assistance
Must pass background check
Preferred
CBRF certifications preferred but not required
