The role involves developing and maintaining backend services, contributing to frontend development, and collaborating with team members in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend services using PHP 8.3, with a focus on modern, clean, and testable code
Work with the Symfony framework and manage dependencies using Composer libraries
Build and enhance features that integrate with external carrier validation services and internal tools
Interact with PostgreSQL databases efficiently and write optimized queries
Contribute to frontend development using Svelte (or Vue with a willingness to learn Svelte)
Collaborate with team members during 2-week sprint cycles using Agile methodology
Deploy and manage services in a Digital Ocean cloud environment
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in PHP 8.3 and familiarity with object-oriented design patterns
Experience with Symfony, Composer, and modern PHP development practices
Experience with the frontend using Svelte is a plus; experience with JavaScript is needed
Experience in React or Vue is acceptable, provided there is a willingness to transition to Svelte
Knowledge of PostgreSQL, including query optimization and schema design
Experience working in Digital Ocean or similar cloud hosting environments
Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
