Responsibilities
Work with Regional Sales Managers to provide engineering support as well as costing for projects
Determine feasibility of product proposal/specifications
Support and advise our distributor network on equipment specifications
Coordinate the creation of prototype products
Analyze customers’ specifications to determine if product design meets requirements
Clarify and resolve issues, develop designs, and prepare design modifications as required
Manage projects, from start through completion
Document and track project needs
Create design drawings to properly document project needs
Use engineering / design software to perform engineering and design tasks
Evaluate test results for possible application to development of systems or other uses
Qualification
Required
Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
3-5 years of electro/mechanical sales applications support
Experience managing multiple simultaneous projects
Experience with 3-D modeling using Inventor
Significant 'hands on the product' experience with ability to recognize problems, predict potential outcomes, and implement countermeasures to avoid problems
Ability to drive project to completion
