Responsibilities
Oversee daily cash, deposits, and bank reconciliations; maintain the schedule of GL accounts and month-end close
Manage AP/AR, deal posting, titling paperwork, and DMV remittances; ensure proper documentation and retention
Prepare and review monthly financial statements, schedules, and composites; assist with annual budgeting and audits
Monitor internal controls for sales, service, parts, and F&I; address variances and implement corrective actions
Supervise office staff: hiring, training, performance feedback, and workload prioritization
Coordinate with department managers to ensure accurate RO posting, parts inventories, and warranty submissions
Maintain compliance with federal/state/local regulations (e.g., lien/tax, privacy) and dealer policies
Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, speed, and CSI across administrative workflows
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
3–5 years automotive accounting and office experience in a franchised dealership
Proven people management experience leading office/accounting teams
Strong knowledge of GAAP; proficiency with DMS (e.g., CDK, Reynolds), Excel, and document controls
Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving; ability to meet tight deadlines
High integrity, professionalism, and service orientation aligned to Stocker Auto values
